Matt's charcaol portrait of Susan Olsen has been selected as a semi-finalist in the 2009 Outwin Boochever Portrait Competition. The competition is conducted by The National Portrait Gallery, a museum of the Smithsonian Institution, located in Washington D.C. Susan's portrait will be shipped to Washington this winter in time for the final judging in late May 2009. The final exhibition will open at the National Portrait Gallery on October 23, 2009.
